Account Locked Out — What to Do

If your account is locked follow these steps to regain access.

If you see a message saying your account is locked, this usually means too many incorrect password attempts have been made.

Step 1 — Wait 15-30 minutes

Most account lockouts are temporary. After 15-30 minutes, try signing in again with the correct password.

Step 2 — Make sure you're using the right password

  • Check Caps Lock is off
  • Check you're entering your current password (not an old one)
  • Remember: your password may have been recently changed on another device

Step 3 — Try signing in at outlook.office365.com

If you can sign in there, your account isn't locked — the issue may be with a specific device or app that's using an old password.

Step 4 — Reset your password

Try the self-service password reset at https://aka.ms/sspr

Step 5 — Contact support

If you're still locked out, call 0203 026 6317 or email support@edisonnetworks.net. We'll unlock your account and investigate why it was locked.
