Requesting Shared Mailbox Access
Request access to shared mailboxes like info@ or accounts@.
A shared mailbox (e.g., info@, accounts@, sales@) allows multiple people to read and respond to emails from a common address.
To request access to a shared mailbox
Email support@edisonnetworks.net with the following:
- The shared mailbox email address
- Who needs access (full names and email addresses)
- Whether they need send-as permission (the ability to send emails that appear to come from the shared mailbox)
What to expect
- Access is typically granted within 2-4 hours during business hours
- The shared mailbox will appear automatically in your Outlook desktop app (you may need to restart Outlook)
- On mobile, you may need to add the shared mailbox manually via Outlook settings
To remove someone's access
Email support@edisonnetworks.net with the mailbox address and the person to remove.
