WiFi Not Connecting — Basic Checks

Try these steps to resolve WiFi connection issues.

Before contacting support, try these steps to resolve WiFi connection issues.

Step 1 — Check if others are affected

Ask colleagues if they're also having WiFi issues. If everyone is affected, it may be a wider network issue — skip to Step 5 and raise a ticket.

Step 2 — Toggle WiFi off and on

On your device, turn WiFi off, wait 10 seconds, then turn it back on.

Step 3 — Forget and reconnect to the network

  1. Go to your WiFi settings
  2. Find the network name, select it, and choose 'Forget' or 'Remove'
  3. Reconnect by selecting the network and entering the password

Step 4 — Restart your device

A full restart (not just sleep/wake) resolves many connection issues.

Step 5 — Check the access point

Look at the WiFi access point (the white device on the ceiling or wall). If the light is off or flashing amber, it may have lost power or connection.

If you've tried all steps and still can't connect, raise a ticket with your device type, the network name, and any error messages.
